Equitech 2RQ | REVIEW

If you have been to our Studio or attended our rooms at an audio show, you would have seen the Equitech 2RQ and its balanced power technology as part of the system. We sent Marc Phillips, of PT. Audio, a new unit built to TVTI specifications. The text below can be read in his Equitech 2RQ review. This balanced power unit can only be purchased at TVTI

“What is that impact I’ve been describing? Aside from the usual attributes, that the Equi=Tech Model 2RQ allowed me to hear deeper into the music thanks to the lowered noise floor, I heard an overall shift in the way music was delivered to my ears. Once the Model 2RQ was engaged, I heard movement within the soundstage that I’ve only heard a couple of times before, with much more expensive power management. Not only did the entire soundstage expand in all directions, it seemed to settle more firmly in space. The sensation is one of everything lifting up, and then spreading out to cover the most real estate. That was what I noticed during the first few listening sessions with the Equi=Tech.”

The TVTI Equitech 2RQ can be experienced in our studios. Come see it.

About the Author: doug

My sonic taste prefers accurate reproduction of the recording engineer’s efforts where instruments have tonality and texture. I frequent live concerts and, because I have musician friends who perform nationally and internationally, my need to play is suppressed. More importantly, it keeps me in touch with the reality of the live performance. It was when I stopped playing did I have the realization that my audio system was not true to my playing experience. That’s when my search began – visiting, and later working in, high end audio stores.
