Vinnie Rossi 2024 Product of the Year

Congratulations, of course, to Vinnie Rossi on his 2024 Product of the Year Award for the Brama 2 Integrated.

Marc Philips of PT.Audio said: “I’ve been a big fan of Vinnie Rossi’s amplifiers ever since I reviewed his battery-powered Red Wine Audio integrated almost 20 years ago. I reviewed the L2-Si integrated a few years ago, and loved it. I was supposedly one of the first in line to review the first generation of Brama, but the pandemic and supply-chain issues made it difficult for Vinnie to keep up with demand. When Brama 2 came out, Vinnie was eager to get it to me ASAP.

I have it in my system right now. The Vinnie Rossi Brama 2 integrated has that ineffable sense of rightness to the sound, that feeling that I can hook up anything to it and it will be the best that piece of gear will ever sound. The Brama 2 has an ace up its sleeve–Western Electric 300Bs in the preamp stage–which is the cherry on top of an industrial design that is nothing short of wondrous. Every cubic millimeter of space inside this integrated is a master class on purpose, as well as elegance. Since I haven’t even started to write the review yet, I’m amazed that the Brama 2 would be considered as the 2024 Product of the Year. In fact, when the team voted for their favorite nominees, the Brama 2 was mentioned more than any other product we’ve reviewed. If that’s foreshadowing, so be it.”

“The Brama still offers the type of warmth I need from my system. Not a lot, mind you, but enough where I can still chase all the stress out of my body and fall under the spell of the music.”

About the Author: doug

My sonic taste prefers accurate reproduction of the recording engineer’s efforts where instruments have tonality and texture. I frequent live concerts and, because I have musician friends who perform nationally and internationally, my need to play is suppressed. More importantly, it keeps me in touch with the reality of the live performance. It was when I stopped playing did I have the realization that my audio system was not true to my playing experience. That’s when my search began – visiting, and later working in, high end audio stores.
