ETSURO Ursuhi Gold

The Etsuro Ursuhi Gold is the top-tier MC cartridge and is designed to deliver an exceptional experience for audiophiles worldwide. Faithful to basic engineering principles, it has incorporated Excel Sound’s over 40 years of cartridge manufacturing experience.

The Etsuro Gold model features a diamond cantilever. Due to the diamond’s hardness, the vibration transmission rate can be increased, improving sound quality. At the same time, unnecessary resonance is reduced to emphasize the sound’s transparency.

The stylus tip uses a specially polished Microline stylus having an ideal contact surface against the record grooves to achieve high reproduction performance.

The magnetic circuit is based on the combination of electromagnetic soft iron and samarium cobalt, which has been proven by many of its achievements. This is to realize magnetic characteristics consistent with the coil vibration and ensure the overall balance and thickness of the sound. A pure sapphire base will firmly support these highest-quality materials to eliminate signal loss.

Using a traditional Japanese craft technique, gold leaf was applied to the housing made of extra-super duralumin. The elegant gold-leaf finish of the housing was achieved in collaboration with Hakuichi, located in Kanazawa Prefecture. Etsuro Ursuhi Gold is finished with 24K gold to surround the super-rigid, extra-super duralumin body, reducing unwanted resonance.

The specially treated pure copper coil is wound in-house, and the components are precisely hand-assembled by skilled craftsmen with many years of cartridge production experience. The performance, elegance, and gorgeous finish make it the top model.
