Network Acoustics’ former flagship Ethernet Switch has been developed as a system, with equal attention paid to both the design of the switch and its power supply.

Separating the power supply from the signal clocking and output processes is critical when designing an Ethernet Switch for high-end music and video streaming. Network Acoustics achieved this goal by designing a Switch with huge, but low-stressed processing/switching capacity, precision clocking and integrated power filtering. The tempus Switch is perfectly matched with its hybrid power supply, which is designed to provide the clean and dynamic power that is required.

The result is an Ethernet Switch unequalled in its ability to simultaneously deliver perfectly timed and clean signal to all of the networked devices in your home entertainment system.

tempus – Hybrid Power Supply Mk.2

Network Acoustics is developing a new router-specific power supply based on the groundbreaking hybrid design used in the original Tempus power supply. The new PSU features several upgrades that significantly improve performance.

During testing, NA found that this new power supply significantly enhanced the performance of the tempus Ethernet Switch, prompting the decision to integrate these upgrades into a Mk.2 version of the Hybrid Power Supply.

The tempus Hybrid Power Supply is a revolutionary design in its own right, featuring multi-stage noise filtering, a unique output stage design, combined with switched-mode technology, paired with NA’s high-performance DC cable. This unique hybrid design delivers ultra-clean power typically associated with the best Linear supplies, combined with the essential dynamics only a switched-mode supply can provide.
